Stop watching
the market.

Your plan. Your limits. More time for everything else. Phoebe researches each morning, watches for your prices, and invests within the limits you set — even when your phone is put away.

You set the limits before anything is bought. One switch stops it, any time.

First

You write the plan

In plain English: what makes something worth buying, what to ignore, when to ask for more confirmation. Phoebe reads it every morning.

Then

You set hard limits

A total budget, the most any one position may take, and how often it may buy at all. These are enforced in code — not by judgment.

After that

It runs without you

It researches, waits for your prices, and buys when they arrive. No notifications asking permission. No screen to sit in front of.

The limits

It cannot spend more than you said.

Every order is checked against your limits before it reaches your broker. If any check fails, nothing is bought and the reason is written in your journal.

  • Enough cash available
  • Inside your position size cap
  • Within your buy-frequency limit
  • Market actually open
  • A stock it is allowed to buy
  • Not a repeat of an order already placed
  • Auto-investing still switched on
  • No margin, no short selling
  • Total budget not exceeded

Phoebe also holds its own ceilings above yours: at most $10,000 invested in total and no more than four buys in a day, whatever you set.

Your limits

Budget$2,000 total
Position size cap25% of budget
Buy frequencyat most 2 buys per week
Risk toleranceBalanced

Shown again whenever a limit changes. Nothing new is ever agreed to silently.

If you change your mind

One switch stops everything.

Turning auto-investing off halts every order immediately. It never sells anything you already hold, and your plan, limits and journal stay exactly as they were.

Your strategy

What makes an opportunity attractive

Price at or below a well-established support level, or entering a defined support zone. Multi-timeframe lows that agree with each other.

Conditions that cause a stock to be ignored

An earnings event or other major catalyst is imminent. Adverse company news since the original research.

Conditions that require additional confirmation

The move to the level was unusually fast. The stock is near a multi-year extreme.

Your plan

Written in words, not settings.

Your strategy is a plain-English document you can read and edit, not a grid of toggles. Phoebe reads it when it weighs a morning's research and again when a price arrives.

Change a limit and it shows you the summary again before anything takes effect.

Coming: talking your strategy through with Phoebe in conversation, and asking it why it chose what it chose.

What you see

It tells you what it did, not what it might do.

Phoebe bought

Bought MSFT — filled 2 shares at $398.12.

Needs you

Your broker connection expired. Watches stay in place, but nothing can be bought until you reconnect.

Daily summary

Nothing reached your zones today.

Exact numbers, no emoji, nothing promotional. Each kind can be turned off.

Your money

It never leaves your brokerage.

Your account, your name

Phoebe connects to a Robinhood or Webull account you already own. It never holds your money, and there is no Phoebe account to fund.

It cannot move money out

Phoebe can buy and sell. Transfers, withdrawals and deposits are not something it is able to do at all.

Never your password

You sign in on your broker's own page. Phoebe receives a token, encrypted and stored separately for each person.

Locked to your face

Face ID or your passcode every time the app opens, because it is connected to your brokerage.

Why hand it over

The plan is easy. Tuesday is hard.

Most people who lose money in the market are not bad at picking companies. They are bad at holding on to what they concluded once the screen turns red and their hands get involved.

A plan written on a calm Sunday is a careful thing. It names what is worth owning and what you will pay. The same plan remembered mid-drawdown becomes flexible: the price you would not pay becomes the price you pay.

Phoebe's whole design is to keep Sunday's plan intact through Tuesday. It does not get impatient, does not chase a stock that already ran, and does not quietly revise your limits to fit what it just did.

Questions

The ones worth asking first.

Does it really buy without asking me?

Yes. You agree once, at setup, to the limits you have written — and after that Phoebe buys inside them without stopping to ask. That is the point of it, and the reason the limits matter as much as they do.

What stops it from emptying my account?

A total budget you set, a cap on how much any one position may take, a limit on how often it may buy, and Phoebe's own ceilings above yours. Nine separate checks run before any order reaches your broker, and a single failure stops it.

Can I stop it?

One switch in Settings halts every order immediately. It never sells anything you hold, and nothing about your plan or history changes.

Who holds my money?

Your broker — Robinhood or Webull — in an account you opened yourself. Phoebe never takes custody of funds and has no ability to transfer or withdraw.

How does it decide what to buy?

Each morning it researches the companies in view and notes any price zone worth waiting for, writing down its reasoning in plain language. When a price reaches one of those zones it looks again with fresh information, then either buys or explains why it did not. Every decision is in your journal, including the ones where it did nothing.

Is this financial advice?

No. Phoebe is software. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing it produces is a recommendation. Investing carries a real risk of losing money.

What does it cost, and how do refunds work?

$8.99 a month, free during the beta. Once it is on the App Store, Apple handles all billing — you cancel in iOS Settings, and refunds are requested from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.
